Santa Barbara Courthouse Locations
Our fair courthouse offers tons of variety, and sometimes it’s nice to have a few favorites chosen before your wedding or session to ensure we make the most of our time. Here are some of my favorite spots.
The iconic tower view! Only open until 4:30 from the interior. For any day or time, rain or shine.
The main arch.
Under the sunken garden magnolias, only in early spring.
The green tree in the back! Always makes beautiful light. (Also wedding spot H)
Exterior covered hallway - a favorite spot for rainy days and private first looks!
White staircase.
Fiesta stage and steps. Time of day dependent.
Near the back archway entrance. One of my favorites.
Pretty steps near the Palm Terrace, offering wisteria in spring, but very dependent on time of day. Often too bright.
Fountain on the street side of the arch. Often too bright, but in shade offers a very Roman look. (Near Wedding spot B.)
The back entrance archway. Less traffic than the front. Yes, that’s a cat!
