With Engagement season in full swing, I decided to share one of my all time favorite engagement sessions, from last year: my musical, jovial, good natured afternoon spent with Cheyenne & Stephen! All in all it was a relatively simple day, with just one location and two outfits. And yet it was so very full! Chock-full of laughter, play, splashing and running. No fear of the water or getting dirty. And, my favorite element - their guitars!

I am a huge fan of music, and find the art of playing music to be incredibly fascinating. I could talk for hours about the works of John Williams or Ramin Djawadi, The John Butler Trio, Pearl Jam, or even Bjork. (Yes, my fandom pretty much stalled after I graduated college, *cough* years ago, with the exception of movie/tv scores.) So sufficed to say, I was excited to work with some music lovers! While it was too loud with the crashing waves to really hear much of what they were actually playing, I felt like I was in the presence of an authentic folk music duo, they’re just so cute and perfect.

I totally ship these two, all smiles and kindness. Stay tuned for their wedding post some day soon, where I fell even more in love with them!
